Welcome to Kitchen Equipment, one of four courses part of Culinary Pathway. The purpose of this course is to help school nutrition professionals understand the safe and efficient use of equipment commonly used in school kitchens. 

After completion of this course, the participants will be able to:

    1. Identify storage equipment in the school nutrition kitchen and explain their use.
    2. Identify and explain the use of small kitchen equipment to facilitate efficient food preparation. 
    3. Identify common cooking equipment used in the kitchen and explain their use.
    4. Identify holding equipment in the school nutrition kitchen and explain their use.
