Full course description

This course has 3 modules, each with a reading and activity. Each module should take 1-2 hours to complete. After these modules, there is information about assessments to earn the ISTE CT Facilitator microcredential.

When you complete the course, you will be able to 

  • Plan and implement instruction using a wide range of instructional strategies for individuals and groups for a diverse student population
  • Plan and implement instruction that allows students to use computer science in problem-solving and decision-making situations
  • Create and implement multiple forms of assessment and use resulting data to gauge student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Practice positively impacting the achievement and attainment of underrepresented populations by incorporating strategies to increase their students’ intentions to continue advanced studies in computer science
