Full course description

This course has 3 modules, each with videos and activities. Some of the modules have submodules (total of 7 sub-modules). Each sub-modules should take 1-2 hours to complete, including the activity. After these modules, there is information about assessments to earn the ISTE CT Learner microcredential.

When you complete the course, you will be able to:

  • Use effective strategies to evaluate the quality, credibility, and validity of websites. 
  • Explain tradeoffs between various product needs, including usability, security, and cost.
  • Develop a plan to prepare students for emerging technologies and educate them to become responsible digital citizens with safe, secure, ethical, and professional digital behavior, including countering cyberbullying.
